The malting drum was designed, engineered and built in combination of our team and the team at Titan Boats.
One of the advantages of malting in a drum style, is in gentler handling of the grain under rotation, rather than augers in a typical Saladin box style Malt House. Because of this we can work with a wider variety of grain types, such as: hulless barley, rye and other specialty grains.
